We reached out to our readers to find out their favorite Amish authors and books! Here are their favorites:
My favorite authors are Wanda Brunstetter and Beverly Lewis. —Karen C.
Beverley Lewis and of course Suzanne Fisher, Beth Wiseman and Wanda Brunstetter are just a few of my favorite authors. —Leona D.
I like all the authors I have read but at the present time I have more of Cindy Woodsmall’s books. —Syble D.
Beverly Lewis, Suzanne Woods Fisher, Leslie Gould —Amada C.
My favorite amish book is Basketful of Broken Dishes by Naomi Stutzman. A true story that brought tears and smiles throughout the reading. Her parents were amish and left, causing her to not know her amish family as she should have. A particularly sad remark was that as she looked back she had not spent a Thanksgiving or holiday at her grandmothers table while growing up. That struck me as sad, how can you exclude your grandchildren? —Loretta S.
Favorite book is Anna’s Crossing.—Lisa P.
