I am curious about what women are allowed to do on Sunday. Are women allowed to cook and bake in order to feed their families? Or are they only allowed to serve items that they prepared the day before? Are they allowed to sew? Crochet? Quilt? Or are these activities all considered “work” and not allowed on the Sabbath?—Joann
Baking will be done the day before, but they can cook on Sundays. Sewing, crocheting, and quilting are kept as projects for week days. Sundays are looked forward to as a welcome day of rest, a chance to read those books that have been waiting, a time to write letters, catch up on sleep, play games as a family, go visiting, and on church Sundays, go to church.
