Q. How do the Amish feel about organ donation, either as donors or recipients? Or, is it simply not allowed?
A. While they’re living, the Amish will donate and receive kidneys, bone marrow, and blood if the need arises. They will not donate their organs after death or receive one from a person who has already died.
