Share the Memories
Thank you so much to everyone who shared their holiday memories! We enjoyed reading each and every one of them.
Congratulations to our last winner Jenny Englody who shares:
My favorite holiday memory was when I took my three kids to see Santa on Christmas Eve. When they took there turn with Santa, each getting their first Christmas gift. When my middle child open her gift, it was the gift that was number one on her list for Christmas. The one I told her Santa may not be able to bring to her because it cost to much. He had so many toys to give out to all the good little girls and boys all around the world, and to make sure every child got a present, he couldn’t spend too much on just one child. When every child was finished talking to Santa, she asked if she could talk to him again. When we got up to where Santa was, she told him she loved his gift but it cost much and asked him to take it back to the store and buy something that did not cost so much so he could buy more toys for those who did not get on. Santa asked her why she was willing to give up the top gift on her list. She answered, “You see the little girl over there? She did not get a present yet.” Santa told her that the little girl would not come set on his lap or even come close to him because she was scared. My little girl asked if she could take it over to the little girl for him. So Santa gave her the little girl’s gift. After she gave the girl her gift, she was able to see Santa to say thank you.
